Information and purposes

We collect your name, company, contact details, billing address, site addresses, relevant site contacts, enquiry details and optional photographs, approvals, work records, certificates and payment records. We use these to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, schedule and deliver work, issue invoices and certificates, manage payments and maintain business records.

Our lawful bases

We use information where necessary to take steps requested before a contract or perform a contract with an individual; to meet legal obligations for accounting and record keeping; and for legitimate interests in managing business contacts, services and disputes, subject to your rights. Optional promotional emails, WhatsApp messages and SMS messages are based on your separate consent.

Access and service providers

Access is restricted to authorised personnel. Information may be handled by our website hosting and storage providers, OpenAI/Sites and its infrastructure providers, and, where necessary, our accountant, subcontractors assigned to your work and payment providers. If you choose WhatsApp, Meta/WhatsApp also handles communications under its own terms. Our hosting providers may process information outside the UK. Contact us through our business WhatsApp for information about the providers, processing locations and safeguards applicable to your information. Billing and site addresses are entered manually. We do not send address entries to an address-search provider. We do not sell your contact details.

How long we keep it

Unconverted enquiries are reviewed after 12 months. Routine daily recovery snapshots are kept for 30 days. Separately retained migration recovery archives are reviewed after the change has been verified. Contract, invoice and related accounting records are normally retained for six years after the relevant financial year, or longer where a legal obligation, claim or installation record requires it. Certificates and safety records are reviewed according to their purpose and applicable retention requirements. Marketing preferences remain until withdrawn or reviewed as inactive; a minimal suppression record is kept to respect an opt-out. Records are reviewed rather than kept indefinitely without purpose.

Your rights and contact

You may request access or correction, and, where applicable, deletion, restriction or portability; you may object to processing and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Cookies and website statistics

Sign-in services use necessary session technology. Necessary client-form and enquiry cookies identify a form session and its submission confirmation for up to 24 hours. If you choose Save draft, your enquiry text and contact details are stored in this browser tab. Drafts expire after 24 hours and expired content is removed the next time that enquiry form is opened. Drafts are not sent to EVG until you submit; photographs and marketing choices are not saved in drafts. You can delete a draft at any time. Avoid saving on a shared device. Enquiry session records are removed after 30 days; unused expired sessions are removed when a new form is opened. A daily hash of the network address is used to limit automated form submissions. Uploaded enquiry photos remain private to the EVG office and any agreed job documents. Public project photographs and feedback are only published separately after permission and source checks. This website can remember your choice about anonymous daily page-view counts. No advertising pixels, individual visitor profiles or cross-site tracking are installed.
